Tecos vs Cruz Azul - Mexico - slightly moved from a few hours ago but still a nice offer. Both teams are solid scorers, 1.7 gpg, and not strong on defense (Tecos last in league, CA in middle). Cruz Azul posted their 2nd under of the campaign with the 1-0 loss vs Pumas and have gone over in 3/3 road matches. Tecos similarly just one under played out of 7 and crazy scores on home turf (4-2, 2-3, 1-6). H2H's also in agreement with 2-1, 5-1, 3-3, 5-2, 2-2 in last 2 years. Tecos did change their coach this week and now Dario Franco takes over. He changed Morelia's fortunes last tourney and can do the same here. He's a bit defensive minded so limits my confidence but still comfortable telling you the real line should not be 2.5 goals. Cruz Azul's top defender, Joel Huiqui, but Chelito has returned after missing 4 matches. Tecos / Cruz Azul over 2.5 goals 6/10 @1.89 (pinn, 1.88 ibc)

San Luis vs Toluca - Toluca are a super defensive road team playing very conservative ball which has produced the 3 road unders and just a single goal allowed. San Luis 6 of 7 in unders so far this year with only over coming in tehe 4-0 win vs Veracruz with 3 goals coming after VC's defender was sent off. So we have the #1 and #2 defenses in the league matching up with San Luis allowing just 1 home goal and Toluca just 1 road goal. Cristante will miss again in Toluca's net and his backup Cesar Lozano is pretty shaky in net. He started 10 games last year and posted just one clean sheet so 10 of his last 11 games has seen a ball behind him (allowed pk vs Morelia). Certainly lowers my stake but a 1-1 draw will win this bet. San Luis / Toluca under 2.5 goals 3.5/10 @1.87 (pinn, 1.86 ibc)

yes, MLS is one of my main leagues

Colorado Rapids vs Chicago Fire - really strange match here..I'll explain. First you have incredibly inconsistent Colorado who've gone LWLLXW in last 6 and have backed a great 6-2-0 home stretch with 1-0-2 in last 3 in Denver. Then, the strangest of teams in Chicago...go winless in 5 league games then unbeaten in 6 (9 if you count cup). I count this as a must win home match for Colorado as they are just 2 points in a playoff spot with a trip to LA up next. Colorado have just one home game remaining vs 4 on the road and with their league-worst 8 road points I think you'd agree that anything less than 3 points is a disaster in this match. The Fire are close to wrapping up a playoff spot, currently up 9 points over RBNY, and have the US Open Cup final coming up on Sept 27. They do not play well in the Denver altitude, winless since 1999, and they've played a brutal schedule because of their US Open Cup advancement. This will be Chicago's 10th match in 30 days while just game #6 for the Rapids over that time. Add the altitude and "must-win" home factor and I see a very nice situation for a home win. Rapids without defender Dan Gargan while Chicago miss one player in each sector due to injury and young offensive sub Calen Carr due to suspension. Colorado Rapids -1/4 goal 5/10 @2.07 (pinn) ... strongly considered just the 2.35 home win on Colorado but went a bit more conservative with the HC

Atlas vs Veracruz - Mex 9:45pm EST - Atlas are turning me into a believer and actually will have a bet on them. I did not think this young team (avg 23 years of age) would compete well but they've gotten some great play from guys like 19 year old Guardado, 21 year old Colombian Rodallega, and 23 year old Medina. They are not a creative group but attack with such speed...actually speed like I've never seen in this league. They don't have the best of aim, however, but get ample chances every match. This speed and counter style has been great in road matches where they've posted a 2-2-0 10/2 record but I think they can match it at home against such a weak defensive team as Veracruz. VC have allowed 12 of their 14 goals away from home and trailed by HT in all 3 matches, finally losing by scores of 3-1, 5-1, 4-0. They did change the coach last match and beat Tigres but this will be his 1st game coaching on the road in this league. If he packs it in for 90' it could frustrate young Atlas but one early goal will open them up and I think this could turn into a rout. Prices have moved up on Atlas throughout the day and worth a bet now. Atlas -3/4 3.5/10 @1.95 (pinn)

will probably have more UEFA cup bets but here's the 1st ....

Lokomotiv Moscow vs Zulte Waregem - Loko in some serious form right now, unbeaten in 16 matches (!) including 4 straight wins. Zulte struggling domestically with 1 win in 5 with only win against bottom club Lierse. Loko do have a derby against Spartak on the weekend but I'm thinking they push a solid 2-0 win here. Zulte without a few regulars, at least 4, but have performed well on the road. Loko are a top 3 Russian team and that league is ranked 8th...Zulte Waregem are no better than 8-10 in Belgian league which is ranked 11th, so a class difference exists. Lokomotiv Moscow -1.5 goals 2.5/10 @ 1.95 (mansion exchange, 1.94 thegreek)

each unit is $100 ... thus 10/10 = $1000 stake ... 5/10 = $500 stake ... etc
